Born in 1973 in Geneva, Switzerland, Laurent Nègre studied cinema at HEAD-Genève (Haute école d’art et de design). He is the screenwriter and director of several feature films: **_fragile_** – Swiss Film Award 2006 – Best Supporting Actress Award to Marthe Keller; **_Opération Casablanca_**, fast-paced action comedy set as an international co-production between Switzerland, France and Canada; **_Confusion_**_, a _political satire in the form of a _mockumentary_. Among his TV productions for SSR/SRG and RTS (Radio Television Suisse), he directed the national documentary series _La Fabrique des Suisses_, many reports for the RTS news magazine _Temps Present_ as well as _Coulisses de l’Événement_ and several chronicles _Regard de Cinéaste_.
