John Skoog (b. 1985, Sweden) is a Swedish artist and filmmaker whose work explores rural landscapes, labor, and marginalized communities through a hybrid documentary approach. Educated at the Städelschule in Frankfurt, he works primarily with 16mm film, emphasizing texture, duration, and sensory presence. His films, including Reduit (Remains) (2016) and Ridge (2019), have screened at major international festivals and art institutions.
