With "Vultur's Wake", I wanted to explore the fragile dynamics of a family gathering where old wounds resurface beneath polite conversation. The story unfolds over a confined period of time, allowing tensions, disappointments, and unspoken grievances to slowly rise to the surface. I focused on intimacy and performance, keeping the camera close to the actors so that every pause and hesitation carries weight. The domestic space becomes a stage where affection and resentment coexist, and where generational conflicts reveal deeper uncertainties about belonging and identity. Ultimately, the film suggests that reconciliation is rarely dramatic; it emerges, if at all, through uncomfortable honesty and the difficult acceptance of one another’s imperfections.
