When I made "The Lights, They Fall" I wanted to explore emotional isolation within contemporary urban life. Through restrained storytelling and carefully composed spaces, I followed characters who drift through moments of quiet rupture—where relationships dim rather than explode. I was interested in how absence, more than conflict, shapes human connection. Light itself became a metaphor: fragile, fading, yet persistent. The film ultimately suggests that even in darkness, there is a subtle search for meaning, and that what falls away can reveal what truly remains.
