When I made "Snowing in Marrakech", I wanted to explore the emotional distance that can exist within intimacy. Through the encounter of two individuals in a city suspended between tradition and modernity, I examined longing, fragility, and the desire to escape oneself. Marrakech becomes more than a backdrop—it is a space of contrasts, where heat and cold, closeness and isolation coexist. I was interested in how fleeting connections can reveal deeper vulnerabilities. **The film ultimately suggests** that even in moments of apparent warmth, there can be an inner winter—yet within that coldness lies the possibility of renewal and self-discovery.
