I made _Desire_ because Carl Craig’s journey embodies more than music—it represents resilience, vision, and the transformation of Detroit techno into a global language. By following him around the world, I wanted to capture both the man and the cultural movement he symbolizes. **The film conveys above all** that creativity transcends borders, and that passion can turn a local rhythm into universal expression. _Desire_ portrays techno not only as nightlife but as heritage, innovation, and community. It celebrates the force of desire itself—the relentless drive to create, move forward, and break boundaries.
